Requesting Quotes & Consulting
Quotes can be requested online anytime using the Quote Request function on our Home page, or our Order Online page. You are also welcome to contact us as [email protected] or call 269-324-0040 to discuss your project needs with a professional graphic communications consultant anytime. We take pride in providing you with custom quotes within 24 hours, or sooner if you let us know when you need them by. Quotes and consulting services are always free of charge.
Ordering & Cancellation Policies
You can place orders with us online anytime using the Online Ordering function located on our Home page. You can also email us at [email protected] or call us at 269-324-0040 to discuss the best way to get started on your project.
A 50% deposit is required on all orders for non-credit accounts with the balance due in full upon delivery. We do offer credit to established organizations, and you can submit a Credit Application anytime to request credit with us.
Cancellations will be billable for all work completed to date of cancellation of an order including all graphic services, handling services, plates, paper, ink, bindery, mail services, shipping costs, restocking fees, or any other applicable charges that may apply. Cancellations may be received in writing, via fax, or via email to [email protected] as necessary.
Providing Artwork Files
We recommend using the File Transfer function under the Online Ordering tab. You can also email smaller files to [email protected], or give us a call at 269-324-0040 to arrange other options such shipping a disk to us, or having us pick it up from your office.
Print-Ready files are considered to be high-resolution PDF files, or design files such as InDesign, Publisher, or Quark Express with all links, fonts, and graphics provided. We accept many other file types for final production also, but final output may not be guaranteed without additional services. Creative Graphic Design Policies
Our professional creative design team makes every effort to provide you with fresh new designs, or re-create your artwork exactly as you intended it. Artistic freedoms, copyright and trademark regulations, and royalty regulations are always followed to the letter of the law. It is our business to assist you in making the changes you require, and check to make sure that you are not infringing on any other entity’s rights. You are welcome to provide us all materials for compilation, or have our design professionals create, write, and provide all aspects of your project for you. Allegra cannot be held liable for anything you supply or approve regarding your final artwork and usage of your completed items once approved by you.
A 50% deposit of all graphic design work is billable at time of order placement. The balance due along with any additional work after your order is placed is billable or redeemable upon approval of artwork for production. All creative graphic design projects are quoted upon request.
Proofing Policies & Procedures
A proof is a legal contract between Allegra and our clients. Once you approve a proof, it is an agreement by you that it is exactly what you want, and an agreement by Allegra to provide exactly what you have approved.
All proofs will be delivered electronically via email before any hard copies are provided, unless specifically requested. Electronic proofs are free of charge, and hard copies may be billable according to your proof needs. When you receive any proof, please be sure to check all spelling, grammar, placement, or other aspects of the design for accuracy. Proofs for color accuracy are billable, and provided in hard copy only.
Press proofs can be scheduled upon client request and are billable depending on the press your project is being produced with. Please call our customer service department at 269-324-0040 to find our more information, receive pricing, or to schedule a press proof.
Production, Delivery & Return Policy
Our production staff take great pride in providing you with the highest quality materials in the industry. We follow many production standards and guidelines. We agree to accurately reproduce all Pantone colors within Pantone guidelines per the agreed upon Pantone number the client has specified. All Full Color work or CMYK orders will be produced based on SWOP color standards, and against hard-copy proofs signed by the client.
We do offer free pickup and deliver in the greater Kalamazoo area. We also offer shipping service via UPS or common carrier as required, and shipping and handling charges may apply.
If you are not satisfied with your order, then please contact us within 30 days to discuss the issue and determine a resolution. Reproducing an error on our part is never a problem. We will only reproduce the exact amount of unused materials that are returned to us in this case. If the error is on the part of the client, then we do offer a 15% discount on reproducing corrected materials for you.
